So, where are we heading in this lesson?
In this lesson we begin to tie together some of the learning from earlier, by looking at how you can adjust the way in which you influence people and how you can choose the most appropriate communication channel for your audience. This is a key aspect of having influence.
With Perry Timms we'll have a look at some of Aristotle's work on ethos, logos and pathos and how by being aware of this we can enhance our ability to engage with our audiences. We’ll also be considering how we build credibility, and the work of Robert Cialdini and his six principles of persuasion.
As you work through this lesson keep in mind your experiences of both seeking engagement and being engaged yourself, and how those experiences relate to the learning. We’ll use this in the reflective activity at the end of the lesson.
Please do keep contributing to the community too.
