Social bookmarks
Share our pages with your friends and contacts via social media channels
What is social sharing?
Some of the pages on the CIPD site contain a set of links to external social websites. This enables you to share our pages with your friends and contacts via these external sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc.
How does it work?
Once you have registered with these social sites you can begin sharing links. When you click on a site's logo you will be directed away from the CIPD website to the social site.
When you select one of these links and navigate to an external site such as Facebook or Twitter, you will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of that website. Note also that clicking on these links may result in a cookie being set in your browser by the website with which you have chosen to share a CIPD page.
What happens when I use the links on your pages to share items?
Sharing a content page is a simple process. When you go to any of the available external sites listed, a pop-up will appear that enables you to sign in to that site (if you are not already signed in) and then share the link.
Which services can you link to?
Currently, we provide a list of options on our share menu for our online community, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+
Where do I find the social bookmarking links?
You’ll find social bookmarking links on the left-hand side of content-rich pages on desktop and at the top of the page if you are using a tablet or mobile device.
